Big Ambitions Where to Buy Guide: Which Store Sells What
The most common way to waste an in-game day in Big Ambitions is driving to three stores looking for one fixture. Each supplier has a personality — once you know which one carries what, you fit out a whole business in a single trip.
Prices below are the catalog prices recorded on the community wiki. Treat them as the ballpark rather than a live quote; the game has been patched repeatedly and the wiki has not tracked every rebalance.
The Six Suppliers at a Glance
| Supplier | Neighborhood | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| AJ Pederson & Son | Garment District | Retail fixtures: counters, display, racks, shelving, warehouse racking |
| Square Appliances | Hell’s Kitchen | Commercial kitchen and food-service equipment |
| Essentials Appliances | Lower Manhattan | Security and facilities: cameras, panels, lockers, showers, coat checks |
| Mr. Scott’s Office Supplies | — | Office furniture and office lockers |
| IKA BOHAG | — | Home furniture and gym equipment |
| Factory Supply Depot | Lower Manhattan | Factory machines and input/output stations |
Two names cause confusion: The Appliance Store redirects to Square Appliances on the wiki — they are the same shop. And several basics (cash registers, storage shelves, cleaning stations, cabinets) are stocked by more than one supplier, so you can pick them up wherever you already are.
Retail Fixtures — AJ Pederson & Son, Garment District
| Item | Price | Also sold at |
|---|---|---|
| Checkout Counter | $2,300 | — |
| Cash Register | $900 | Square Appliances, Essentials Appliances |
| Product Panel | $500 | — |
| Display Stand (Tiered Product) | $450 | — |
| Clothing Rack | $490 | — |
| Jewelry Floor Showcase | $8,900 | — |
| Changing Room | $1,000 | — |
| Pallet Shelf | $2,500 | — |
| Storage Shelf | $1,200 | Square Appliances, Essentials Appliances |
| Cabinet with Drawers | $470 | Square Appliances, IKA BOHAG |
| Cleaning Station | $100 | Square Appliances, Essentials Appliances |
| Trash Bin | $30 | — |
Two things worth knowing before you buy: a cash register has to sit on top of a counter such as a cabinet with drawers, and it needs paper bags plus an employee with the customer service skill before it does anything. And the pallet shelf holds 60 units of any item — it is the warehouse racking, not shop display, which is why it comes up so often in inventory questions.
Kitchen and Food Service — Square Appliances, Hell’s Kitchen
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Pizza Oven | $10,756 |
| Salad Bar | $4,000 |
| Industrial Fridge | $3,300 |
| Hotdog Grill | $2,200 |
| Ice Cream Counter | $1,800 |
| Bakery Showcase | $895 |
| Drinks Fridge | $875 |
The bakery showcase holds croissants, cupcakes and donuts and carries a customer capacity of 20, which is why a coffee shop with one showcase caps out early. Every appliance carries its own customer capacity — the building’s capacity is a ceiling, not a promise.
Security and Facilities — Essentials Appliances, Lower Manhattan
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Gym Lockers | $2,950 |
| Coat Check | $3,000 |
| Public Shower | $3,150 |
| Security Camera (Dome) | $2,700 |
| Security Camera (wall) | $2,500 |
| Security Guard Locker | $2,000 |
| Security Panel | $1,200 |
| Security Sign | $25 |
A $25 security sign is the cheapest security score you will ever buy. Panels go in pairs at the entrance and are enough for a small shop with low-value stock; cameras are for covering merchandise and matter once you are stocking jewelry or electronics. See security and cleaning.
Office and Gym — Mr. Scott’s Office Supplies and IKA BOHAG
| Item | Price | Sold at |
|---|---|---|
| Executive Office Desk | $2,200 | IKA BOHAG, Mr. Scott’s |
| Office Lockers | $925 | Mr. Scott’s Office Supplies |
| Standard Office Desk | $800 | LUXCONCEPT, IKA BOHAG, Mr. Scott’s |
| Water Cooler | $130 | IKA BOHAG, Mr. Scott’s |
| Treadmill | $3,800 | IKA BOHAG |
| Pull-Up Bar | $700 | IKA BOHAG |
If you are looking for gym equipment, IKA BOHAG is the answer — it is a home-furnishing store, which is not where most people look first. The treadmill and pull-up bar also double as happiness boosts for your own character.
Factory Equipment — Factory Supply Depot, Lower Manhattan
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Input Station | $25,000 |
| Output Station | $25,000 |
| Conveyor Belt | $5,000 |
Those two $25,000 stations are the real entry fee for manufacturing, before you buy a single machine. Budget for them when reading the factory guide.
Frequently Hunted Items the Wiki Does Not List
Some fixtures that players search for constantly are not documented anywhere public. Rather than guess at a listing, here is what is actually known:
- Uniform locker. There are three locker types documented — Office Lockers ($925, Mr. Scott’s), Security Guard Locker ($2,000, Essentials Appliances) and Gym Lockers ($2,950, Essentials Appliances). Which one your staff want depends on the business type; assigning uniforms is covered in the employees guide.
- Bathroom stall. Not documented on the community wiki. Essentials Appliances in Lower Manhattan is the supplier that carries the game’s other facilities fixtures — public showers, coat checks, lockers — so it is the first place to look. Treat that as a lead, not a confirmed listing.
- Umbrella stand and desk globe. The wiki has stub pages with no purchase data. Decorative items generally come from the furniture stores (IKA BOHAG, LUXCONCEPT, Nugem Interiors) rather than the trade suppliers.
1.0 made this hunt slightly easier: store items now show their customer capacity and any placement requirements — such as needing to sit on a cabinet — directly in the catalog. See what 1.0 changed.
Buying Stock Is a Different System
Everything above is furniture and equipment, bought outright from a shop. The products you sell come from wholesalers and importers on a contract, which is a completely separate flow involving purchasing agents and delivery limits — that is suppliers and importers.
